Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with Over a Decade of Surgical Expertise
I grew up listening to the inspirational journey of my grandfather which seeded an inclination towards dentistry. I accompanied my father Dr. Ravindra P. Jayade to the operating rooms and watched him perform surgeries which started inspiring me. The memory of this incident is strong… I was in 5th grade in the school when one of my elder brothers bagged a merit seat in dentistry and one another bagged a PG seat in oral surgery. It is on that day I made up my mind to be a dental surgeon too. The real challenge I had was to keep the dream alive through so many years of schooling and college. In 2001-02 I too bagged a merit seat which delighted me and thus began my journey in dentistry. I always dreamt of being an oral surgeon and I realised this dream too in the year 2007-08 when I bagged a merit seat in oral surgery.
The memory of one incident is etched and will always remain fresh. It was year 2003-04, I was in BDS III, at a state IDA conference where I met a cartoonist who drew a caricature of mine depicting that I am an oral surgeon. This caricature constantly reminded me of my goal and I possess it even to this day. Following my PG in 2010, I worked with renowned surgeons at the prestigious institute of SDM Dental College, my Alma Mater, and gained work experience. I developed a special liking towards trauma, orthognathic surgery, oral cancers and oral implantology. On the go I did numerous short courses on implants, sedation, oral cancer and sialoendoscopy.
The inspirational history of my previous two generations, my emotional involvement with their journeys and the rich legacy received, gave me the purpose of my career. Throughout my journey the people who professionally backed me are my father Dr. Ravindra Jayade, my wife Dr. Deepa Jayade, my uncle, brothers and my colleagues.
With a work experience of 12 years, currently I am a proprietor of Jayade Dental Clinic and associated with hospitals for major surgical work. Driven by my core values of integrity, ethics, perseverance, passion and innovation, my endeavour would be to enhance the reach of our clinic into the periphery, to digitize the practice so as to render next level dentistry/surgery to all, 5 years hence.
Dr. Deepa Jayade
Expert in Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry
Born and educated at Raichur district of Karnataka, Dr. Deepa idolised her father. She grew up watching her father Dr. Ravindra Mujumdar who is a Sonologist and a general practitioner of great repute render medical services to the people of Raichur.
At a young age she found her interest in dentistry and thus decided to take it up as her career. Her focussed efforts towards her dream goal bore fruit and she bagged a merit seat in dentistry in 2001-02. During her graduation she was always in the good books of her professors and earned their appreciation for her skilled work in clinics.
Following her graduation in 2005-06, she gained a rich clinical experience while working with some of the renowned practitioners of Raichur. During her initial clinical years she developed a passion towards Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.
She became a part of Jayade Family in the year 2008 and thus began her journey of dentistry. She has undergone advanced training and certifications in restorative dentistry, root canal therapies, cosmetic dentistry and fixed prosthodontics. While her husband Dr. Gautam Jayade was pursuing his post graduation Dr. Deepa diverted her focus in the backdrop on gaining clinical experience at Jayade Dental Clinic. She became a part of Jayade Family in the year 2008 and thus began her journey of dentistry.

During this period she faced a major challenge of acceptance by the patients while her father-in-law Dr. Ravindra Jayade was preferred over her. This at times was quite demoralising. However she stayed on through this lean period and soon…with her hard work, morals and ethics, perseverance and persistence she earned the love, respect and affection of the entire team and her patients. Her keen sense of observation, fine clinical skills, skill of reading her patients’ needs makes her a fine clinician.
